Photokina 2016, Cologne, Germany ― DNP Photo Imaging Europe is pleased to announce that the company is exhibiting a wide range of new products and solutions at Photokina 2016, the world's largest trade fair for the photographic and imaging industries, held in Cologne, Germany from September 20-25, 2016. In October this year, Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) will celebrate the 140th anniversary of its founding in 1876. Since its founding, DNP has continued to create new products and innovative services by taking advantage of strengths in areas like project planning, development, manufacturing, and sales, in addition to constantly working on technological development.

At the Photokina exhibition, DNP Photo Imaging Europe will display a range of products and services that only a company with the technological prowess and wealth of experience of DNP is capable of achieving. The DNP Photo Imaging booth welcomes professional visitors to experience the innovation that is at the core of the company's products and services, and the new value added and fun printing offers.

Booth concept

At Photokina 2016, the DNP Photo Imaging Europe Booth is divided into six zones:  Retail, Dry Minilab, Value Added Products, Studio Photography,  Event Photography and DNP Technology. Each of zones displays a wide range of DNP’s latest products and services.

Retail and Dry Minilab

Featuring exciting displays of the extensive array of DNP printing solutions, SL620, DS-K20, Print Center Light, Print Center and Nexlab6, that meet increasingly sophisticated retailors’ requirements and help them expand their business. Visitors are invited to experience the Printogo, a new app which enables end-users to select their printing shop, send their photo orders directly to their shop and collect them at the most convenient time for the customer.

Value Added Products

The zone features Value Added Printing Solutions and Products. With the DS80DX, the 8 inch duplex printer, the shop owners can now easily and instantly create a wide range of value added photo products, such as double-sided photobooks, postcards and calendars.

Studio photography

Showcaseing the DS820, DNP’s new 8 inch printer. Offering two types of consumables and meeting the demands of an extended choice of photo formats up to 8x32’’ panorama, this state-of-the-art printer boosts a great image quality that perfectly fits the professional photo studio needs.

Event photography

The Event Photography will exhibit a range of innovative equipment. WPS Pro creates a hotspot to get instant photo printing without a router or PCs. DS-Tmini is a compact yet powerful 10” order terminal with intuitive software. Combined with a DNP printer such as DS-RX1HS, the DS-Tmini offers a variety of photo finishing formats. Using the optional Party Print Solution, the DS-Tmini is the ideal compact solution for events benefiting from all Party Print functions. The Kiosk Party Print, a new concept for the event photo marketing, was set up for the Tour de France 2016 and offers the opportunity to take selfie, print them onsite immediately and share these unique memories on social networking service.

DNP Technology

Developed with DNP's proprietary imaging technologies, the DNP Image Processing module is widely used in DNP photo applications such as Tomo, Snaplab+ and Event Photo booth.  Image processing module serves to enhance images, add value and more fun.
